Humane assessment with Moose at Smalltalks 2011 (video)

Last year, I had the pleasure of giving an invited talk about Humane assessment with Moose at Smalltalks 2011.

The talk was accompanied by hands-on demos. Given that the audience was formed of smalltalk-fluent programmers, so were the examples based on a Smalltalk case study. And what better Smalltalk case study than Moose itself.

The demos exhibit several scenarios that call for analyses. In the process of providing answers I use several custom analyses that involve crafting:

• custom queries and metrics,
• a custom visualisation, and
• an interactive browser.
